A jewellery care card template for your studio
A useful jewellery care card tells the owner how to look after the piece they actually bought. A generic instruction can miss a delicate setting, a surface finish or a material that needs different treatment. Use this structure, then supply advice your studio has checked for the piece.
Start with the materials
Name the metal, stones and any plating, enamel, resin or other finish that affects care. For memorial or bespoke work, describe only the details you have permission to share. Keep a customer’s personal story out of a broadly shared example or reusable template.

Keep the note distinct from the instructions
The care card should be easy to scan when the owner needs an answer. Use the maker’s note for thanks, the making story or a personal message. A certificate can record the studio’s description of the piece. These documents serve different purposes and work well together in one customer kit.
